International Women’s Day Celebrations

In commemoration of International Women’s Day 2026, under the theme “Give to Gain” the bank took time to formally recognize and celebrate the invaluable contributions of its female employees in driving business success and organizational growth. As a gesture of appreciation, tokens were presented to women across the organization, demonstrating both gratitude and a continued commitment to fostering gender diversity, inclusion and equal opportunity within the workplace.

The celebrations included a special ceremony where the Chief Executive Officer, Mr. Ravneet Chowdhury, alongside female management leaders, personally presented tokens of appreciation to staff. This meaningful recognition highlighted the dedication, professionalism and resilience consistently demonstrated by female employees, whose contributions remain instrumental in advancing service excellence and strengthening the institution. In his remarks, the CEO commended the team for their unwavering commitment, noting that their efforts continue to play a vital role in the bank’s progress and innovation journey.

As part of the broader International Women’s Day celebrations, the bank also sponsored 10 female employees to attend the Women Rise and Lead Forum organized by Strathmore Global Institute. The forum, aligned with the #GiveToGain theme, brought together participants from diverse sectors to engage in discussions around leadership, empowerment and collaboration. The event emphasized the importance of mentorship, shared knowledge and intentional leadership as key drivers of personal growth and impactful influence. Through such initiatives, DTB reaffirms its commitment to empowering women, supporting their career advancement and cultivating a workplace culture where every individual is valued and inspired to thrive.
