Diamond Trust Bank Tanzania Empowers 1,532 School Girls Through the #AchieveMoreGirl Campaign

Dar es Salaam, Tanzania – In line with its commitment to creating lasting social impact, Diamond Trust Bank Tanzania PLC (DTB) has empowered 1,532 female students through the 2026 edition of its #AchieveMoreGirl campaign.

Implemented in partnership with Flaviana Matata Foundation, the initiative brought together students from King’ongo, Marambamawili and Mbezi Inn Secondary Schools in Ubungo Municipality, Dar es Salaam, equipping them with the knowledge, confidence and support needed to thrive in and beyond the classroom.

Students participated in engaging sessions on financial literacy, menstrual health and hygiene, as well as essential life skills, complemented by practical support aimed at addressing some of the challenges that can affect girls’ education and well-being.

By combining financial education with personal development and health awareness, #AchieveMoreGirl equips young women to make informed decisions, remain focused on their education and pursue their aspirations with confidence.
