Diamond Trust Bank Tanzania Plc, recently brought together contractors in Dodoma for a one- day workshop at Best Western Hotel on 13 th July 2023. The workshop was well attended by 29 contractors operating in Dodoma Region.

The event which brought together many stakeholders in construction industry, was graced by Hon. Rosemary Senyamule, the Regional Commissioner of Dodoma who was representing Hon. Prof Makame Mnyaa Mbarawa, Minister of Works and Transport. Other Government officials at the function were the Hon. Jabir Shekimweri, Dodoma District Commissioner, Chairman for Tanzania Contractors Association Eng. Thobias Kyando and Chairman for Dodoma Contractors Association Eng. Vivian Komu.

Besides the discussions on the challenges facing the construction business, the bank seized the opportunity to present the products and services suite that would solve some of the financial problems facing the construction industry. Diamond Trust Bank Plc is poised well in the market to serve contractors across its digital channels and the 29 branches in major commercial centers in the country.
Addressing the contractors during the workshop, hon. Rosemary Senyamule, applauded the bank is solving the short-term goals of contractors in acquiring working capital to facilitate daily operations as well as purchase of construction tools and equipment.” We are happy and delighted by the gesture of DTB’s willingness to support the construction industry which was adversely affected by the pandemic. The one-day workshop was sponsored by Reliance Insurance (a partner of Diamond Trust Bank in bancassurance business) who also shared best practice in insurance as a catalyst to prosperity in construction industry. The workshop was concluded by evening cocktail session for bonding and stakeholders The workshop was concluded by an evening cocktail party, providing the chance for networking, building cohesion, and strengthening relationships amongst the guests.
